Missing a piece? Find the replacement pieces form here.
We want your book to be functional and useful so replacement pieces are available starting at .70 each.    Please contact us and provide your name, address, name of the product and the label information located on the white tag on the back of your product.  If the missing piece is attached by Velcro, please indicate whether the missing piece would have the hard or soft side of the Velcro.

Having problems with online ordering?
Please let us know by one of the contact methods listed above.  We will work as quickly as we can to resolve any technical issues that arise.

What credit cards do you accept?  All the major credit cards--Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

What about returns/refunds?
We want you to be happy with your order.  We will accept returns within 30 days of purchase for unused items returned in original condition.  Please contact us prior to your return to let us know so we can issue a Return Receipt to accompany your shipment.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless there is a product defect in which case we will be happy to cover shipping costs.

Are My Growing Season quiet books and soft toys handmade?  Yes, they are.  Each book or toy is very labor intensive but we don't want to cut corners because we love the look when they are finished and are sure you will too.   You will see slight variations from product to product because they are not made on mass production machines.  They are also completely prefinished and do not require any cutting or assembly after purchase.

Is a quiet book right for my child?  Generally speaking, children are naturally drawn to quiet books and soft toys due to the bright colors and tactile qualities.  Children delight in completing the developmental activities on each page.  Some pages have removable pieces which encourage play and interaction, so special care is required in maintaining the book and ensuring that pieces are returned to their spots.  Many buy quiet books as heirloom presents with the intent to retain the book as a memory of childhood long after the child is grown.  As with many toys, the products are best enjoyed with a caregiver as the child and caregiver interact in the learning process together.  Many of our customers tell us that they reserve quiet books for special times and that makes the books even more engaging to the child because they don't have access to them at all times. 

Do you sell kits?
No, we don't.  Customer feedback tells us that many people who buy a kit never actually finish it and our customers tell us they love having a prefinished book or toy.  We offer a high quality product at a fair price especially when the cost of purchasing your own materials and hours of time are factored in.  Many grandmothers tell us they wish we were around when they made quiet books many years ago.

How do I find out about new products or promotions?
Sign up for our mailing list and we will let you know what's happening.  The newsletter subscription sign up is at the bottom of the home page.  You will receive an email indicating that you have signed up for the newsletter then hit reply to opt in.  You can also join us on Facebook.

Do you charge sales tax?
Tax will be charged at 6.85% for products shipped in Utah.  Other states ship tax free.

How quickly will my order ship?
Orders usually ship within three to four business days.  Occasionally there are exceptions and if that’s the case, we’ll let you know as quickly as possible.  If you need overnight or expedited delivery, please contact us prior to ordering so that we can arrange proper delivery for your gifts.

How will my product be shipped?

Unless you contact us to request otherwise, we ship via United States Postal Service.

Do you ship internationally?

Please contact us to discuss your specific needs and we’ll be happy to discuss if we have carriers going your way.  Orders shipping to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK can be placed directly through our website and postage will calculate when you select your country.  All prices are shown in US dollars.

Do you ship to APO addresses?
Yes, we do. 

Can I pick up my order instead of shipping?  At checkout, enter PICKUP in the discount field and the shipping charge will be waived.  If you live within the Salt Lake area, you are welcome to call (801) 557-8594 to arrange a mutually convenient pick up time.    Please note, we do not have a retail store, however you can also visit us at our Shows.

Can the books be cleaned?
Yes.  We recommend hand washing with mild soap and warm water followed by air drying.
